Our community event will host 10 of the best BBQ cook teams from all over Texas. They will be competing head to head for the title of Grand Master. We will have competitions in the following categories: Best Chicken, Best Ribs, Best Brisket, Grand Master, Best Bloody Mary, Best Decorated Tent. Enjoy a day filled with fun, performances, dancing, music, great food and delicious ice cold drinks. This is a family friendly event so bring the kiddos. 100% of all ticket sales will go directly to this years charity: Tina Barefield Foundation and Crossover Athletics to benefit The Tina Barefield Foundation seeks to support families battling Lupus. With community resources, a safe place to release stress, and a network of people who understand, first hand, the toll this disease can take on the lives of all those affected by it, the Tina Barefield Foundation seeks to touch the lives of families affected by Lupus by giving them the citizenship, compassion, and strength that Ms. Tina Barefield exuded during her brief time with her own family. Showcase Basketball is currently collaborating with The Tina Barefield Foundation (501c3) We desire to ensure that no matter the financial circumstances of a child, he/she will get to experience the best that sports and athletics has to offer. Showcase is committed to serving youth through the discipline and structure of sports. We consistently strive to break the covenant of despair that accompanies daily temptations of severe lack and relentless boredom by instilling self-esteem and motivation into every child that enters our facility.
