Yoga with kittens??!!! Yes, you read that correctly! RoseUp Yoga is grateful to partner with Kitty of Angels and Apollo Gym for monthly "Meowmaste Kitten Yoga" with rescue kittens. Every 1st Sunday of the month May through October. What better way to spend an afternoon than with some sweet kitten therapy! A majority of all proceeds will support Kitty of Angels in their efforts to rescue and foster. This intimate experience will be held outdoors in a gated yard, safe for the kittens to enjoy maximum frolicking capabilities. The first 30 minutes is dedicated to kitten playtime, allowing the kittens to become acquainted with the space and their new yogi friends. You’ll be helping to socialize the kittens as they look for their "fur"ever homes. Some may tire out and others remain playful making for a Zen, yet fun yoga sesh! Our class includes an hour of gentle yoga led by Johanna Rose, Certified Yoga Teacher, of RoseUp Yoga. The session will be accessible for all skill levels with a focus on enjoying each pose while several of our friendliest kittens wander and play around you. Class will be followed by an additional 30 minutes of kitten playtime and cuddling. Space is limited so reserve your spot quickly! Water will be provided and restrooms available.
