Everyone is invited to meet Miss Polk County and learn about diabetes, healthy living and how to support community members with chronic illness. Miss Polk County, Alysa Goethe, is an educator who lives with type 1 diabetes. She is experienced at presenting diabetes education to children. Recommended for children in grades K-5 and their caregivers. Registration is required.
