Our chess club, ChessPalace, is hosting a monthly Amateur chess tournament at SteelCraft Garden Grove this Easter weekend. Open to players of all ages, who would like to play chess recreationally or competitively, this event is a great way to start playing over the board in a casual atmosphere. Players will be allocated to a group (depending on the total registrants), and they will play assigned opponents in their group. Sign in by 11:30 am and games starts 12:00 pm. Chess boards and pieces will be available for use. If you would like to bring your own, you’re welcome to as well. Entry Fee: $30 +eventbrite fee ($45 onsite)
