Are you looking for a creative outlet this summer for your kids? Sign them up for beginning sewing camp and watch them develop valuable life skills as they learn to sew. This year we will be making a fidget quilt. Date: Monday, June 5th – Thursday, June 8th Time: 9 am – 12:00 pm Ages: 9 years old - 18 years old Cost: $40.00 Description: Monday: Learn to operate a sewing machine and make the first two blocks for the quilt.Tuesday: Learn how to put in a zipper, eyelets and Velcro and make the next three blocksWednesday: Learn how to make button holes, sew on a button, webbing and buckles and a marble maze. Thursday: Learn how to put your fidget quilt together and fringe the edges.Healthy snacks and active games provided each day! This event is for 4-H members.
