WFSU invites you and your family to our Summer Challenge Kick-Off event! The 2023 Summer Challenge theme is "Branchin' Out!," and will encourage kids will learn all about the natural world around them.
At the kick-off event, kids will get the opportunity to fill their own Summer Challenge bag with goodies such as the WFSU Activity Guide, tree cookies, dice, buildable banks, and so much more! The WFSU Activity Guide includes the Summer Challenge Checklist. Earn WFSU coins (tokens) throughout the summer for completing different challenges from this list.
Start your summer off right by coming to the Kick-Off event, where your child will be able to check the first few items off their list! Other activities include interacting with critters, making your own bookmark, learning about the moon, and watching WFSU PBS KIDS shows, such as Work it Out Wombats!
Join us at WFSU Public Media from 10 am - 1 pm on June 3rd. This event is free and fun for the whole family!
*WFSU coins have no actual monetary value. Kids will be able to turn their checklist in at the end of summer at chosen library locations to collect coins and cash them out for prizes from the WFSU prize store. Dates, locations, and times TBA.
