Our programs are designed to bring seasoned gardeners, backyard enthusiasts and first-time gardeners together to grow individually and as a community. Throughout our programs you’ll get hands on experience with local farmers and urban growers to learn everything you need to know to have a successful garden this year! Our garden programs mainly focus on growing edible plants including fruits, veggies and herbs. Though our programs are open to everyone, there are a limited number of spaces available, so if you can commit to attending, please register in advance. This Free 5-week series will be on Wednesday evenings 6-7:30PM at Baxter Community Center from April 19-May17th Week 1: Getting Started & Soil Prep Week 2: Garden Demonstration: Digging InWeek 3: Composting & Worms Week 4: Permaculture & Planning Your Garden Week 5: Transplanting & Maintenance Those that sign up for this series and attend at least 4 of the 5 weeks will be eligible to receive 2 trays of free plants from our annual plant sale to get their garden started this year!
