What do we love about our Florida home? The orange groves, the seaside, the changing landscapes as seen in the exhibition Florida Impressions…YES! Yes, we do! We also love the history of music in Gainesville. This is an evening at the museum to enjoy live music with Jason Hedges which honors rock legend Tom Petty and also includes tunes by other musicians who have passed through our town. While “Spring” and “Summer” aren’t seasons that are easy to define around here, kids of all ages can create their own globally inspired and seasonally relevant animal art at a pop-up screen-printing station.
