CIVICS CON is a civics convention created by and for the community. Now in it's third year, the event brings together activists, advocates, and academics, community leaders and organizers, elected officials, and a bunch of regular folks who care about the American democracy and want to make it more fair, equitable, representative, and just. Attendees share the conviction that "people power" is the key to change, and this event is all about getting organized! The theme for CC'23 is "Community. Organizing. Progress." You can expect to find inspiration and purpose during large group plenary sessions and learn detailed, actionable information in the dozens of topical breakout sessions. You'll connect with leaders, advocates, and grassroots supporters from across Oklahoma and surrounding states to share knowledge, lived experience, and passion for the future. *Full agenda will be posted soon* NOTES: We want everyone to come who is interested.
