Ignite invites you to have lunch with Tom Simpson and engage in an interactive discussion on fund raising for startups and emerging companies. Come with questions and hear Toms views on how much to raise, how to structure your financing (preferred stock, convertible note or SAFE), how to set your valuation and how to close an investment. Tom is President of Ignite Northwest and the Spokane Angel Alliance and Managing Member of the Kick-Start Angel Investment Funds. He is a former investment banker, venture capitalist and co-founder of a successful ecommerce company. Tom has invested in well over 100 companies and has participated in angel and venture financings from all perspectives; as an agent, as a principal and as an entrepreneur.
