Celebrate Trolley Trail Day with a breakfast bike ride from Hollywood to Hyattsville! We'll be riding from Proteus Bicycles and Brews down the Trolley Trail to Hyattsville, then back to Proteus. While we'll be mostly on trail, there is some on road riding in unprotected bike lanes and crossing major roads. The ride is approximately 10-12 miles round trip. This is a family friendly ride. Children must be either on an adult's bike (trailer, child seat) or confident 2 wheel riders. Helmets are required. Bikes must be in good working order. Bike pump will be available on site. If your bike needs repairs, please get it checked out well before the ride as we will not be offering bike services at the start of the ride. Tentative Agenda: 9:00 - Meet at Proteus Bicycles and Brews for coffee, pastries, and bike checks 9:25 - Helmet check, ABC quick check 9:30 - Depart Proteus 10:30 - Arrive at Shortcake Bakery in Hyattsville 12:00 Arrive back at Proteus
