We are thrilled to have Chris Bohjalian at the Library! Chris is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of 24 books, including The Lioness, Hour of the Witch, The Red Lotus, and The Flight Attendant. His work has been translated into 35 languages and has been adapted into three movies and an Emmy-nominated TV series. Bohjalian's most recent novel, The Lioness is already in development for a limited TV series and comes out in paperback May 2, 2023! Chris has also adapted his novel, Midwives, for a play, which premiered January 21, 2020 at the George Street Playhouse.
He is the recipient of the Walter Cerf Medal for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts; the ANCA Freedom Award for his work educating Americans about the Armenian Genocide; the ANCA Arts and Letters Award for The Sandcastle Girls, and much more! Chris graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Amherst College. He and his wife currenly live in Vermont.
This fun-filled fundraiser will begin at 5:00 pm with Beverages and Bites and our Silent Auction, followed by Chris Bohjalian in conversation with WAMC Radio Host Joe Donahue. The night will conclude with a book signing and the Silent Auction - thanks to the generosity of our community members. Special thanks to Northshire Bookstore.
