Join us for Red Day, a day of service with Empower 225! Empower 225 is an organization that is dedicated to empowering youth and families to break the cycle of poverty and violence. They do this by connecting them to supportive services and developing them in five key areas: Education Support, Life Skills Training, Career Preparedness, Housing, and Mentorship. Red Day is an opportunity for us to work alongside Empower 225 to make a real difference in our community. There are several opportunities to serve during Red Day, including: Dream Center Graduation Preparation: Help prepare for a graduation ceremony at the Dream Center, where Empower 225 offers education support and life skills training. Anchor House Yard Work (Men Only): Help with yard work and maintenance at the Anchor House, which provides housing and mentorship to young men in need. Street Outreach Kit Preparation: Help prepare kits for the homeless with Street Outreach, an organization that provides supportive services to those in need. Boutique Clothing Sorting: Help sort and organize clothing donations at Empower 225's boutique, which provides career preparedness support and job training. No matter which opportunity you choose, your service will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. So come join us for Red Day and let's work together to empower our community!
