We're Ghermayn and Christina, proud Cal Heights residents and business owners in the neighborhood. We run Point by Point Studio, a furniture repair shop that specializes in repairing and restoring cane, rattan, and other woven furniture. With the generous support of Roxanne's and the Cal Heights Business District, we're excited to bring our neighbors together for the first ever Cal Heights Neighborhood Furniture Swap! Think real-life Facebook Marketplace meets silent auction — all while enjoying some morning bites and beverages. In the spirit of community-building, we'll also be joined by other local home service businesses to showcase their work, share more about their services, and connect with swap participants. Have your grandmother's vintage coffee table that just doesn't quite fit in your space? Bring it to the swap to see what you can exchange for with a neighbor! How to participatePurchase up to six (6) tickets: 1 ticket 🎟️ = 1 piece of furniture 🪑. When purchasing your tickets, please include a brief description of your item(s) and, if you have something in mind, what kind of furniture piece(s) you are looking for in exchange. The swap will run similar to a silent auction: you'll be able to check out all of the pieces in the swap, and then "bid" for items you’re interested in. Bids may take the form of exchanges *or* purchases. At the end of the bidding period, we'll leave it to individuals to determine the winning bid of their own furniture pieces, and then connect with their neighbor to swap!
