Hands-on Pastry Making Class Young or Old, Pro or Newbie baker - this is a hands on class perfect for everyone. Makes a great date with friends or family. This is a perfect Mothers Day gift for that special Mom! Together with Pastry Chef Mia, you will make a line up of delicious baked treats: - Lemon tart with fresh blueberries (lemon curd tart w blueberries on top) - Victoria sponge cake (vanilla sponge cake with strawberry preserve and whipped cream filling) - French Financiers with fresh raspberries (almond cake with raspberries Mom will love you for booking this class! In this 3 hour hands-on class, we will go step by step. These skills and recipes are the cornerstone of Baking and will set you on a journey of your own Delicious Making. This class is taught by Chef Mia. Chef Mia brings ten years of professional pastry experience to our team! Chef Mia has worked under the guidance of former Jean Georges Executive Pastry Chef, Johnny Luzzini and Pink Cakebox owner, Anne Heap. She is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan and owns a cake boutique business that specializes in custom cakes and desserts. She is very excited to teach our pastry classes and share her culinary expertise with you. Classes start promptly and we ask that all participants arrive about fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled. Due to limited space and the upfront costs of food, our classes and events are only refundable 7 days before the event start date. If within 7 days of event start date you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. The event organizer has the right to cancel class within 3 days of event start date if a minimum of 3 attendees is not met. Should the class be cancelled, participants will be offered to select another cooking class of equal or lesser value. Thank you.
