Join us for Spring/Summer Suns co-ed tag league! New players encouraged and no experience is necessary. We play a slightly modified version of Australian Rules Football. New and veteran players welcome! We encourage you to sign up for the full season so you can be assigned a team and receive a t-shirt, but drop in players are also welcome. The first game for new players is always free, so come check it out! Australian Rules Football, otherwise known as footy, is unique to Australia and its roots traceable back to the early forms of Rugby and Gaelic Football. When asked, many of our players will describe footy as a combination of soccer, basketball, football and rugby…..however, it truly is a unique sport and the best way to find out more is to see it in action! The tag league is a fun environment aimed to help new players work on skills and learn the rules of footy. To sign up for the league, please be sure to fill out the Google doc by April 5th!
