The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to take a Spring Stroll with us on Friday, May 12 at 6pm. Led by Museum Director Alissa Keller, this walking tour will discuss historic architecture and its impact on our downtown.
May is Preservation Month when we celebrate historic places, heritage tourism, and the social, cultural, and economic benefits of historic preservation. This tour will explore some of downtown’s most interesting and most at-risk architecture while also sharing stories of successful local historic preservation efforts.
The tour will start at the Pennyroyal Area Museum and will last approximately 90 minutes. Registration is encouraged. Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for Museum Members.
*Interested in becoming a Museum Member? Memberships start at $25.00 per year and come with a whole list of benefits. For more information, visit http://www.museumsofhopkinsville.org/membership/.
