Description

This Mother's Day give a unique, hand-made, gift that will last forever like a mother's love. In this two part, ceramic and floral workshop students will first learn the funamantals of handbuilding by slab to design a functional and contemporary vase. The students will then return for part two, where they will design an arrangement of dry floral in their vases. All tools and materials will be provided. PART 1 (Thursday 5/4/23 6-8pm)- Students will be provided a pound of clay and all tools required to hand build a vase. Once dry, instructor will fire and glaze the vase with a metallic, chrome, finish. PART 2 (Thursday 5/11/23 6-8pm)- Students will return to design an everlasting, textural, arrangement of dry floral in their metallic vases.
