Reservations for our seated tasting are available at 6:00. Each party will be seated at their reserved table. The tables will be pre-set with three Zialena Wines poured for each guests tasting enjoyment alongside a chefs arrangement of tasty bites. Zialena is the alchemy of family legacy, estate vineyards, and the proven process of a seasoned winemaker all working together to cultivate wines of integrity and intention. Named for our Aunt (Zia) Lena who was known for her warm hospitality and famous ravioli, Zialena is a family legacy presently nurtured by siblings Mark and Lisa Mazzoni. With a rich history dating back over a century, our Geyserville estate has been stewarded by four generations. Surrounded on all sides by our estate vineyards and seated among 120 acres in Alexander Valley, our modern tasting room is an immersive oasis built with the intention to share our love and knowledge of wine. Our philosophy is rooted in a longevity mindset that translates to minimal impact, closed-loop practices. Every step from farming to production to sales takes place entirely on site by Mark, Lisa, and their team. The majority of our estate vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, with blocks dedicated to the Mazzoni clone of Zinfandel as well as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and our own field blend called Capella. Our winemaking facility was built around ten open-top, concrete fermentation tanks that are the structural heart of the building and our unique distinction. The porous texture of the concrete allows oxygen that creates layers of flavor, while ambient yeasts add an active, live element that uniquely shapes our wines. With a deep commitment to consistency and estate grapes, our wines will never experience style or site changes giving our portfolio a structure and stability altered only by the subtle changes in weather each year.
