Learn the essentials of formulating and crafting body scrubs with botanical skincare formulator Priya Narasimhan of Priya Means Love. Participants will learn about and play with materials and will be guided through creating gentle exfoliating scrubs of their own design using organic ingredients and fresh and sunny aromatics. We’ll discuss how to take materials from the garden and infuse them into oils and incorporate them into bodycare. You’ll leave with a glass jar of your own completely natural, organic body scrub to help you slough off the last of winter and leave your skin smooth and refreshed. Participants of all skill levels are most welcome, and everyone from complete beginners and experienced herbal crafters will come away with new knowledge and skills. Participants who register by April 29 will have the opportunity to shape the aromatic palette for the workshop — register early, let Priya know your favorite scents, and we’ll create together! This workshop will be held outdoors on the Hex Superette covered patio, and a complimentary glass of Hex Ferments kombucha is included with your ticket. Masks are not required.
