In their 36th year of performance, the highly praised and award-winning husband-wife duo, Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly provide a unique and thrilling blend of traditional American and Celtic folk music and dance, along with original songs and poetry as they blend gorgeous vocals with an astonishing array of instruments including the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, tin whistle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, feet and more. Clasper-Torch has played and performed on piano, violin, viola, and erhu (Chinese violin) since childhood, and adeptly weaves a love of harmonies and improvisation into the music played by the Trio.
