WALLINGFORD, CT - A Wallingford resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On January 11, Patricia Wooding, of Wallingford, purchased a 50k ticket from the Checkers Food Store in Wallingford and won $50,000.
