Dear Mom is a Mothers Day shopping experience and fundraising event curated to honor the life of Taniya Kimora Basnight who was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 17 in 2021. She was an upcoming sophomore at Norfolk State University on her way to obtain her degree in nursing to follow in her Nana’s footsteps.
