Our Saturday art classes continue with a return of Diego Larguia's watercolor sessions! On each day, students will work on a completely new painting, building on their skills as they go. Topics will cover materials, drawing, perspective, tonal value, composition, techniques, and color. This workshop is open to all skill levels. Whether you want to get started in watercolor, practice drawing, learn new techniques, or practice urban sketching this workshop is for you! All students will receive personal instruction. Classes will be conducted in a friendly and positive environment. Students are encouraged to participate in the complete series to gain a full hands-on experience; however, individual classes can be attended as well. Classes sizes are small and will take place from 10:30am to 1:30pm (3 hours) on: Saturday, May 6 Saturday, May 20 Saturday, June 3 The registration fee does not include materials. Students will receive a supply list after registering with items necessary for the course. These supplies will last for all class sessions.​​ About the Instructor: Diego Larguia is an established New Orleans artist and educator. He’s a multifaceted artist, proficient in drawing, oil, acrylic and watercolor. He’s had numerous solo exhibitions and has been an active participant in the New Orleans art scene for the last 20+years. Mr. Larguia trained at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts and has been a teaching at this institution for the last 15 years.
