You are invited to join our My Mom & I meditation workshop this Mother's Day. These activities are created out of the love between a mother and her child, and between children and their moms. You will have the opportunity to engage in activities together.
Tentative schedule:
8:45-9:00 am: Registration
9:00-9:30 am: Opening activity/Pair Yoga (We will practice yoga together)
9:30-9:40 am: Orientation
9:40-10:45 am: Meditation and Mom & I activity
10:50 am: Group Picture (Optional)
10:55 am-1:00 pm: Cooking activity (Fresh Spring Roll)/ Lunch (Menu: Homemade Shrimp Fried Rice, Soup, and Fruits)
*Note: Our homemade foods are prepared with care and freshness. All participants are responsible for any health issues that may arise during or after consuming the foods/beverages or snacks provided by the center.
What to bring:
Comfortable yoga mat, cushion, or blanket (optional)
Water bottle (optional)
Journal (optional)
Ages: Children 7 and up
Suggested donation: $20 per family
COVID-19 Daily Self-Screening Checklist:
• Have you had a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit or have you used a fever reducer in the previous 24 hours to treat a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
• Do you have a new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
• Do you have a new or worsening sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
• Do you have new shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to other health conditions?
• Have you recently experienced a complete loss of smell or taste?
• Have you been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by anyone, including your employer, a medical professional, or a local public health official?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, you may not participate in this retreat.
