Have you ever turned to food to get energy or to calm yourself down when you weren't actually physically hungry? Almost every client I talk to has done this at some point in their life. Usually, when this happens, it's the body trying to communicate some sort of need, or some sort of desire someplace in our lives where we're kind of dissatisfied with. So any time we're feeling bored, or anxious, or frustrated, or feeling bad about ourselves, judging our bodies, and reaching for food in those circumstances, it's time to step back and listen. Underneath that reaching for food to numb something out, is an area of our lives where we'd like to devote more time or energy to.
So, grab your coffee and yoga mat and come down to Storer's Park in Newport, RI on Saturday, April 1st at 9:30am for a morning of connection and meaningful conversations. I will guide you through a series of exercises to help you feel happiness, nurtured and more connected to yourself and those around you.
