Welcome and Congratulations on your acceptance to the Marquette University Direct Entry-MSN Program! New Student Orientation is designed around you, helping to answer any questions that you may have, meet faculty and staff, and interact with fellow students. You will be provided with information about our program, resources and services. By the time you leave orientation, you will be on your way to becoming a successful Marquette nursing student. What you will learn at orientation: Learn about the Marquette University Jesuit traditionUnderstand the structure and expectations of the programSee how ATI is utilized for NCLEX Prep Meet your faculty, peers and the staff behind the scenes Simulation and Site tour (Campus tour optional at the end of the day) Discuss your Summer schedule of classes and additional campus resourcesPlease come to orientation with your questions and make sure to bring your laptop and a notebook. There will be breakfast and lunch provided so please let your admissions advisor know if you have any food allergies before orientation. Orientation is a one day event and is very informative for students. Attendance is expected for all students. If you are unable to make orientation for a specific reason, please reach out to Torin Grogan at [email protected] Date: Friday, May 19, 2023. Time: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM. Address: 1250 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee WI, 53233 Location: Milwaukee main campus in the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU) room 227. We advise students to arrive early so you can check in, eat some breakfast and get settled in to ensure that we can begin on time. Please plan accordingly. A check in station will be set up in the lobby area after you enter the building. Our Admissions team will be present to help assist and direct you to room 227. Parking Information: You can pay to park for the day in either the Wells Street or 16th Street Visitor Parking Structures for $10 for the day, some days are even free. There is also metered parking around campus and some all-day free parking, but those are a bit of a walk. Please refer to the map I attached to the email.
