Tualatin Valley Create presents the 2023 Arts & Culture Leadership Incubator Showcase celebrating the six graduates of this year's cohort: Tyler Geel - Small Business Owner, PainterElisabeth Goebel - Theatre Actress and AdministratorElena Orwick - Visual Storyteller and Communication MajorJessica Riehl - Visual Storyteller and Art InstructorLorelei Ruiz - Fashion Designer, Muralist, IllustratorCherie Savoie Tintary - Analog Collage ArtistSince the Incubator's initial launch in 2019, Tualatin Valley Creates (TVC) has been supporting talented artists, creatives and emerging leaders from Washington County, OR through this learning intensive program focused on community leadership and creative business development, advancing TVC's mission to empower the creative and civic economy of the region. Through the course of the program, the Incubator artists spent time developing projects that will have a lasting impact on their continued professional careers and in the local community. Led by a four-person faculty of experienced artists and arts administrators, the Incubator included a series of workshops focused on civic engagement, budgeting, fundraising, communications, marketing, business acumen and project management. The 2023 Incubator culminates with an in-person Showcase and pitch event introducing the artists and their projects to community, business leaders, fellow artists, funders and local residents.
