The Greater Cleveland Safe Kids Coalition, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Injury Prevention Center, UH Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Center, UH EMS Institute, and Mentor Police and Fire have joined together to host a fun, yet informative event at the UH Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Center on Sunday, May 21 from 12pm - 2pm. All REGISTERED attendees are invited to join the wellness center in an open swim from 2-3pm after the workshops conclude!!!
How it works?
Event attendees will rotate through different hands-on workshops every 15 minutes! The Water Safety Rodeo will include workshops on:
Open Water and Boating SafetyWater Rescue and SupervisionSafety In and Around Pools Hands-Only CPR Demonstrations and Practice First Response Vehicles and Water Safety Trailer Children who attend and participate in this free event will receive a free life jacket! Participating families will also be entered for a chance to win a three-month membership to the UH Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Center! The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
