The time has come for The Flanders Mens Club Famous Clam Bake being held on Saturday July 22nd! Featuring the club’s famous recipe BBQ chicken, whole lobster, clams, local sweet corn on the cob, cucumber salad, and draft beer or soda included with your meal ticket. Guests will have the option of buying a ticket for only the chicken and clams’ meal for $50 or the traditional offering including a 1 and ¼ lb. lobster for $70. Gates will open at 3pm and serving food from 5pm-7pm. Raffles will be available the day of, with sounds of summertime music provided by a DJ, followed by live music by “PM Over Drive” known for their performances of classic rock and other favorites at local vineyards, public venues such as Good Ground Park. One of the renowned summertime events on eastern Long Island, in part because of the abundant delicious meal and in part because of the unparalleled water views of Flanders, Reeves and Great Peconic Bay. This wonderful event and setting is ideal for informal class, family and neighborhood reunions or just plain old getting together with friends to toast the summer. Tables can be reserved for groups. Come early to enjoy the view, the music, and good times with friends old and new. There is a limited amount of meal tickets based on availability of our local seafood.
