Join us for an Ecstatic Dance with Silent Disco Headphones at OJ Watson Park on May 13th! We will be set up near the sand volleyball courts....see map posted below. Dancing in the warm sun! All-ages event with DJ MYANA mixing some multi-genre, multi-cultural beats for you to move to. Send us a message! ::WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE::Ecstatic Dance is a diverse community gathering for those who want to express themselves in a playful and artistic way with other people who value conscious connection, free-form movement and excellent music! We create a space that is inspiring and uplifting; We encourage participants to utilize the Ecstatic Dance space as an invitation for soulful somatic movement, creative self-expression, and heart-centered connection. Move however you wish to move! We hold a nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol/drug/smoke-free container to keep the journey intentional and lucid. You can dance the night away and still wake up early to do awesome stuff in the world! ::COMMUNITY DANCE AGREEMENTS::If you do not respect these agreements you will be asked to leave. We hold these agreements to create a safe space for ALL. 1. MUST receive consent before engaging physically in dance with another person 2. No talking on the dance floor - conversations off the dance floor please! The dance floor is for dancing 2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Substance-Free, Alcohol-Free environment ~MUST ARRIVE SOBER 4. Respect for the space and for one another 5. Move your body however you wish! ::HOW TO PREP:: 1. Dress comfortably to sweat & move. 2. Bring your own water 3.
