We hope you'll join us for our second annual "Be the One" Golf Scramble to fight against blood cancer! Join us again for a day of relaxed golf for a great cause. We'll have registration at 8am, where you can grab your cart, your "Be the One" golf swag, a hot cup of joe, and hit a few balls at the range before our 9am shotgun start. Afterwards, we'll meetup in the Banquet Hall for a brief awards presentation and a message from a few special guests. We hope you'll "Be the One" to step up and help us raise some funds to help in the fight against blood cancers, and have a great time doing it! About The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Their mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Learn more here. About the Visionaries of the Year Campaign Formerly Man and Woman of the Year: As LLS evolves for the future, we are thrilled to recognize our volunteers for being what we need most--Visionaries--and are doing so with a new name for this campaign. Beginning this year, Man & Woman of the Year will become Visionaries of the Year to honor the vision our dedicated leaders bring to creating a better world. Candidates will continue to form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local blood cancer survivors. The individual who has raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign is awarded the prestigious title of 'Visionary of the Year' in their community.These exceptional individuals will be recognized and celebrated across the country for their incredible contribution toward the blood cancer community! See Bram's campaign details here. "Be the One" Origin Story This event started as a fundraiser for Henoc Muamba's "Be the One" campaign for his Man of the Year run in Canada. Henoc aske med to help him as a team member and I decided to host a charity golf scramble to raise funds. It was such a hit, and I was so impacted by his campaign and what I learned about the LLS, that I decided to run for the campaign here in Indy, and host the golf scamble again. I truly hope to see many of those who supporte the campaign last year, and looking forward to golfing along side you as we raise a lot of money and have a lot of fun for a great cause.
