Join us for Volunteering Untapped Chicago's Spring Social and Donation Drive benefitting Every Woman's Project! Every Woman's Project works to assemble and distribute care packages to folks in need, with the goal to embrace everyone who experiences a period by providing them with the necessities they need to function and feel clean. We'll be collecting donations and enjoying each other's company at Barcocina to celebrate the start of summer! First time to VU? No problem, this drive and social is open to all! Location: Barcocina(2901 N Sheffield Ave)Date & Time: Thursday, May 4th, 5:00PM - 7:30PMWe are collecting donations of toiletries and hygiene products (maxi pads, liners, tampons, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant for men or women, etc.).Check out the link for information on acceptable donations HERE. Food and drinks are available for purchase, with 10% of the proceeds donated back to Volunteering Untapped.The first hour of the event (5-6pm) is also Happy Hour, so get there early to take advantage of some good deals!About Volunteering Untapped Chicago Volunteering Untapped Chicago is a fully volunteer-run non-profit organization.
