Many fellow psychonauts will be travelling to the MAPS Psychedelic Science Conference over the Solstice this year, so we decided to celebrate one week early to maximize attendance :) Please join us at the East lot picnic tables at Baker Beach for a potluck event and a special ceremony to honor the brightest and longest day (almost!) of the year. We will be offering a ceremonial event with special surprises (did someone say face painting?! ssshhh...). Please bring a potluck item to share (savory preferred since this event will be during the afternoon time) and any musical instrument or offerings you would like to share. All are welcome so please forward to friends and family! Sacred Practices is a 501(c)3 religious organization that works with sacred plant medicines to offer healing and spiritual guidance to those on the awakening path. We provide a forum that fosters the expansion, development and expression of the Divine within all of us and we provide an institutional counterbalance to the prevailing medical model for sacred medicine and sacred practices. We train Ministers and provide practitioners the legal framework for executing their sacred practices in a way that’s for the betterment of the individual and the community, which complies with local and federal laws. We believe that community is medicine and at the heart of what we do is forming a community that is built upon love, respect, and curiosity. Our purpose is to help create a world where people live from the experience of the Divine within them — where people live with courage, freedom, love, and self-expression in service to the common good.
