Friends of the Northern Rail Trail is hosting a pop-up "Meet Joe for Joe" event at the trail parking lot across from the Danbury Country Store. Come join us to learn how to get involved with this organization, to learn all the ways in which this group is maintaining, improving, and growing this trail system. At 2 pm, there will be a no-drop 20 mile ride on the Northern Rail Trail led by Joe and Katy. Please respect Danbury Country store by parking at the trailhead parking lot. **If you'd like to show up early, learn about the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail, and then spend some time walking along the trail to pick up trash, we will provide bags. Danbury Country Store has amazing options for lunch and snacks for the bike ride. Trail clean up is an ongoing need. The Northern Rail Trail is a gravel, mostly flat, scenic rail trail. Please bring hydration and nutrition to sustain a 20 mile ride. We hope to see you there! www.fnrt.org
