Join us as Every Baby Guilford and Children’s Home Society of North Carolina bring together diverse community organizations, government agencies, and community members/workers who share the common goal of building healthier communities, advocating for vulnerable populations, and working to achieve health equity for all. We are implementing a Health Equity Impact Assessment (HEIA), and your input is vital to its success!
This HEIA will focus on the Triple P program (Positive Parenting Program). Triple P is a parenting intervention implemented by a trained specialist with the main goals of increasing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of parents and reducing the prevalence of mental health, emotional, and behavioral problems in children and adolescents. This HEIA aims to spark conversations about factors that support or weaken health, including the root causes of disparities and inequities. Information gathered throughout this assessment will provide a community perspective and guide our Triple P team in strategic planning to improve Triple P’s existing policy and program.
