The Palmetto Trail has been a gift to South Carolina by the Palmetto Conservation Foundation since 1994 to encourage and inspire active, outdoor recreation, land conservation, and preservation of historical and cultural landmarks. Imagine 500 miles of cross-state hiking and bicycling paths alongside lakes, across mountain ridges, through forests, into towns big and small, and across swamps. The Palmetto Trail is a wonderful outdoor opportunity to enjoy nature, practice conservation, and learn history—all while being physically active. This is a presentation not to be missed! MEETING LOCATION: Pelham Rd Library (1508 Pelham Rd, Greenville, SC 29615). We'll be in the meeting room on the right as you enter the library.
