The Junior League of Cobb-Marietta is excited to announce that we are hosting our first-ever Derby Party—the Mint Julep Mingle—on Saturday, May 6, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Boxwood Social Hall on the Marietta Square. Throughout the event, guests will enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle, a hat contest, heavy hors d’oeuvres from 1885 Grill, drinks (even a signature cocktail from one of our amazing sponsors, Kendra Scott) and, of course, an opportunity to cheer on your favorite horse during a live broadcast of the 148th Kentucky Derby, one of the country’s most exciting sporting events. All event proceeds will go back into the Cobb County Community to support our mission.
