Starting in our own neighborhoods, we'll build a caring and sustainable world with one-yard transformation at a time. Skills students can look forward to learning: Permaculture tools and design strategies to build resiliency, beauty, food and medicinal abundance into your landscapes Different techniques to start a garden or permaculture landscape Strategies and techniques to handle drought and extreme weather challengesIntroduction to many rare cultivars and unique vegetable species for Florida Summers along with growing techniques. Introduction to Florida native edibles for your permaculture landscapeTasting demo of unique and rare cropsTAKE HOME: Participants will take home cuttings, seeds, and propagation material for a summer garden.
