Join us for our monthly Candid Conversation on Friday, May 12th. Feeling stuck at your job? Join us for a conversation with Alissa Welker on how she went from feeling overworked and overwhelmed at her job to starting her own consulting business and embarking on a year of travels to push the reset button. Alissa has spent her career working in a variety of roles for food and agriculture start-ups. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. and the world with the goal of learning more about our food and agriculture system. Alissa enjoys bringing her background in food systems, social justice, and business operations to her day-to-day work. She is currently the Senior Manager of Business Operations and Account Management at Steward, a start-up that provides loans to regenerative food system businesses. After getting burnt out at a Silicon Valley start-up and spending some time traveling and consulting on various agriculture projects, Alissa moved to A2 in 2020 with her partner, Noah.
