Miami Poetry Club offers free, bi-monthly writers workshops that are open to writers of all levels and genres. Generative workshop: Every 2nd Wednesday. We'll give you a prompt , time and space to write, and then the opportunity to share if you want to. Writer's Lab: Every 4th Wednesday. You bring a work in progress and share with a group of writers in order to better hear your own voice and get feedback from other writers to help you improve your piece. *Please bring 10 copies of your piece in progress. Some limited printing is available at the venue. If you need printing, email to [email protected] by 6pm on the day of the event. Mission: Miami Poetry Club seeks to cultivate the next generation of great Miami writers by offering writers space, education and community to improve their craft. Our programming includes bi-monthly writing workshops, the Spoken Waves poetry reading series, and publication of local writers. Miami Poetry Club is a 501(c)(3) fiscally-sponsored by Creatives for Connection.
