Speaker Bios:Scott Martin, CPA/ABV, ASA Scott graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 and began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Seattle. After spending time with two regional firms and an investment banking firm, Scott joined Anastasi Moore & Martin, PLLC in 2012 where he manages business valuation, litigation support, and consulting services. He has lectured on tax, valuation, and merger and acquisition topics before relevant professional groups throughout the Northwest and Canada. Joel Mott, Taxes Joel graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington in 2021 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in both Accounting and Finance concentrations. He started his tax career as a tax season intern for BDO USA, LLP in 2021 before beginning at Anastasi, Moore & Martin, PLLC the same year. Derrick Phelps, Audits Derrick graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting. He started his professional career in Scottsdale at a finance and insurance firm working with financial advisors. He moved back to Spokane in 2021 and passed the exams for his real estate licenses in Washington and Idaho. Realizing he wanted more of a team environment at the workplace, he began his auditing career with Anastasi, Moore & Martin in August of 2022. Please note: Parking is complimentary.
