Bike Bus & Burrito: Social Ride! 🌯🚲Discover key connections to off-campus trails, public transit, and tacos by bicycle, scooter, or skate(board)! Don’t have a bike or helmet? We can loan you a bike, and give you a helmet (while supplies last)! Need a bike for the ride? Please let us know by Mon. 5/08 at 12pm when you RSVP (or email Aysha at: [email protected])! Need a helmet for the ride? We have a limited supply of free helmets (yours to keep!) at the DOTS office at Regents Dr. Garage- just let us know your size when you RSVP (or email Aysha at: [email protected])! Helmets and water are mandatory for all UMD rides. There are over 100 water refill stations if you need water before we ride! ✏️Learn tips and tricks for getting around campus from the College Park Metro (WMATA Green Line) via the Trolley Trail into the heart of campus and to great local eateries. 🗺️First, we’ll start our ride at the UMD Bike Commuter Lot, located by the Regents Drive Garage’s north entrance. Next, we’ll bike through local trails and residential streets to get to the College Park Metro. Finally, we’ll end our ride with a social at Taquería Habanero right by campus. 🥳Complimentary tacos will be provided for the first 20 people who RSVP (and show-up) as a thank you for pedaling! Plan ahead for your ride home with the Transit app, now with real-time Shuttle-UM arrivals! Looking forward to seeing you there!
