Our Centennial will be a once in a lifetime event. Keynote speaker at Friday evening Shabbat services will be Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President of the URJ. We will learn whose land is it? And delve into the "Landback" movement from Silvermoon LaRose. We will explore "American Irony: Religious Freedom & Slavery in Colonial Newport" with Keith Stokes. How about implicit bias? Implicit bias refers to attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions, and decisions in an unconscious manner without awareness, intention, or control. And please join us as we welcome TBE member Congressman David Cicilline, who recently announced he will leave Congress in June to lead the Rhode Island Foundation.
