COUNTRY BOY BREWING'S BEER CHEESE COMPETITION EVENT DETAILS for COMPETITORS: Sunday, May 21 from 1-5 PM at the Country Boy Brewing: Georgetown Taproom 101 Innovation Way, Georgetown,  KY 40324 This competition is FREE for all Beer Cheese Chefs, however, there will be a $25 deposit on space for competitors. Your $25 will be returned to you upon check-in. Competitors will receive one free Country Boy T-Shirt and two drink tickets in addition to a booth space. Competitors will need to arrive between 11:00 AM-Noon the day of the event. All participants will need to be set and ready to serve by 12:45 at the latest. Country Boy will provide tables, pretzels, crackers, and plastic serving utensils. You may bring any extra items to accompany your beer cheese for the competition. Please make sure and provide 2-3 quarts of cheese for our guest to sample. The more samples you hand out the more votes you can receive. Don’t run out too early! Awesome prizes for each category below: 1.) Top Beer Cheese by popular vote will receive a $500 Cash Prize 2.) Second place will receive $100 Cash Prize 3.) Third place will receive $50 Cash Prize 4.) Best decorated table will win $100 Cash Prize 5.) Best Beer Cheese name will win $100 Cash Prize To sign up as a competitor, please select a ticket below. You will then receive a follow-up email a week prior to the event with the final details regarding the Beer Cheese Competition. Our only rule for the competition is: PLEASE use Kentucky made beer, heck Country Boy beer would be fantastic!! To patrons attending to taste and vote: YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET FOR THE EVENT. THE EVENT IS FREE!!! The event starts at 1pm and, as always, our event is free to the public. We will be accepting cash donations which will benefit our friends at the Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm. This is always a fun event filled with great beer, delicious beer cheese and friendly competition. Lets remember, we're here to accept donations and have fun all while making a positive impact on our community. The winner and prizes will be announced in the taproom at 5:30 PM. A follow up email will be sent out to all competitors the week of the event as a friendly reminder.
