AFROFETENESS is coming to Philly! Have fun dancing while getting a great workout in disguise. Learn dance moves that you can use when you go out. We incorporate dances and rhythms from different parts of Africa and the Caribbean, along with HipHop and Twerk. Learn techniques, get a breakdown of movements and dance combos, then put it to practice in the dance fitness party and choreo portion. This is a safe space and a judgement free zone where you can feel free to be your most authentic self. So that means ALL DANCE LEVELS are welcomed. 🤗 We strive for progress not perfection. Sisterhood. Empowerment. Self-worth. Liberating. Are words that have been used to describe this experience. It is more than just “a dance class”. We’re confidence building, embracing our uniqueness, working on our mindset, increasing self-love and tapping into the different ways we can move our bodies.
