Welcome to our first-ever fashion show in the history of Asian Women’s Alliance. With 5-6 segments to the fashion show with incredible performances from Stanford’s best performance groups, we are eager to showcase Asia’s beauty and rich cultures. Come celebrate! Come learn! Most importantly, show us YOUR walk at the Glamour Photo Booth with a red carpet walkway leading up to Dink.Event Theme: Dress YOUR Walk [B&W, Red, Gold] Cultural and Formal are welcome!For the first time in Asian Women's Alliance history, we are producing our first fashion show this year during AAPI Heritage Month! At Asian Women’s Alliance (AWA), we aim to provide a space for Asian women, Asian-American women, and allies of all identities to gather in solidarity and deepen our understanding of ethnic identity while creating lasting bonds. Walks of Asia is intended to uplift Stanford's very own talented Asian and Asian-American women while engaging with the greater Stanford community to learn about our ethnic and cultural identity through fashion. While the production team is of those who are women-identifying, there are no gender restrictions for the designers, stylists, and models.
