Celebrate mom with us at Maker Nexus' Mother's Day Tea and Paint Party.Sip tea, bring out your inner Picasso, and create an acrylic masterpiece to honor all the moms of the world while enjoying yummy tea treats. A fun event for the entire family, your favorite mom friends, or treat mom to her special creative day by herself (we know moms need those self-care days too).Kids will have the choice of hot chocolate or lemonade, and moms (over 21 and guests ) will have the option of a mimosa or tea in authentic tea cups (we are fancy). Served with savory tea sandwiches, kid-friendly tea sandwiches, and delicious sweet tea treats. Moms will also receive a beautiful rose. Each guest will paint one of two masterpieces of their choice: “A tribute to mothers”- whose love, strength, and care are like a towering tree with deep roots and far-reaching branches which hold us in her comforting embrace.- make it yours with colors of your choice "Home is where Mom is"- Sweet Moma Panda and her baby. The event is open to kids of all ages accompanied by an adult; however, the recommended age is 7 and up. No matter the age, and even if you've never picked up a paintbrush, you will leave this class with a gorgeous acrylic painting to hang on your wall or give Mom as a gift. All painting materials (including canvas, acrylic paints, and brushes) and instruction from a professional artist will be provided. Feel free to bring your celebration drinks to enjoy (wine, champagne, beer, or non-alcoholic) Space is limited to 30 people. Registration closes at 5 pm on 5/13.
