THE ENCANTO SOCIAL HAIR JAM PRESENTS THE 1st ANNUAL HAIR GAMES! I welcome everyone to the first ever hair games! The hair industries first ever game show like hair competition to bring together the cosmetology and barbering community. With winner takes all skill based competitions to test the skill of a true hair master, do you have what it takes to become the next hair master? This May 7th at the 21c hotel art museum is the kick off to the HAIR GAMES as we introduce the Pre-Main event! “THE BARBER GAUNTLET barbershop tournament” takes 8 of the best shops in the Illinois area as they take on the challenges of the gauntlet in a chance to win 3,000 dollars on July 24th at the ENCANTO SOCIAL HAIR JAM! The barber gauntlet is a team competition, each shop and its members win and lose as a team. Teams with a flip of a coin can become immune or they can become SABOTAGED! With 6 Sabotages in place, a team will have to sacrifice tools used on a haircut on a day to day basis every 10 mins. This year we added extra challenges on top of sabotages so it makes the competition much more competitive. Those challenges will be announced the day of the competition. Sabotages and challenges can change the outcome of a team's final score. Each member of the team must play their role and give their team a chance to earn more points than the opposing team. The brackets are set, 3,000 dollars are on the line, which team will be in the finale? Come MAY 7th we will find out which 2 shops are worthy of the gauntlet.
