Join us in creating a custom gift for the Mother in your life! We’ll have muralist and block print artist Holly Ka’iakapu from @theHKexperience to guide you in carving your very own design on a linoleum block. You will then learn the process of using the block to print on a greeting card and a tea towel. Go home with these unique personalized gifts made by you, your newly hand carved block, and a new skill to continue creating art! Tools and supplies will be provided. In honor of May Day and Mother's Day our theme is native hawaiian flowers. Please bring a design for your 4"x 6" block. We encourage the use of artwork in this theme, but it is not a requirement. These can be in the form of a sketch, print out, or free hand. Designs should be simple, with thick lines, and must be mirrored.If you are unable to bring artwork one will be provided. Recommended for ages 10 yrs and up
